As per a new Leafreport analysis, there is a 5,100% distinction between the priciest CBD items and the cheapest cannabidiol products in the market. The analysis also discovered a price decrease of 1.96% for each milligram of cannabidiol since April last year. As per the report, cannabidiol isolate is the most affordable CBD category. Leafreport discovered that cannabidiol isolate is now 19% more affordable as compared to last April, whereas the number of CBD capsules has gone up by around 2.5% the most in the same time.

When you take the prices of top CBD industry participants into account, there is not that big a pricing gap as most of those follow an identical production process with similar costs. The gap begins to show as companies that go unnoticed and do not act as per generally accepted production processes have lower prices. Customers should be cautious about CBD oil prices that appear so low that they are hard to believe.

The analysis indicates that there is a big chasm that separates the costliest CBD items and the most affordable cannabidiol products. As per the report, $0.09 for each milligram is the average rate for CBD capsules, CBD gummies, broad-spectrum CBD tinctures, and full-spectrum CBD tinctures. On the other hand, $0.02 is the average rate for cannabidiol topicals per milligram. As per the report, $0.12 is the average rate for each milligram of cannabidiol for vapes and liquids. At the same time, $0.17 is the cost of each milligram of CBD edibles.

Leafreport tracked CBD edibles made for pets, which cost $0.21 for each milligram of cannabidiol on average. On the other hand, $0.12 is the per-milligram cost of CBD tinctures made for pets. According to this report, the distinction between CBD product pricing is 858% and 1,483% for cannabidiol tinctures and edibles, respectively.

The widest price gap is in the cannabidiol topicals category. In the category, 11,142% is the per-milligram gap, with $1.68625 as the peak price point per milligram and $0.015 as the lowest point per milligram.

There is generally a perception in the cannabidiol industry that CBD comes cheap. However, it is not true because hemp cultivation, CBD extraction, CBD testing, and many other factors play a role in determining the price of the product. If it appears dirt cheap, it may be a fake CBD item.
